CLARE – Despite a memo about parking etiquette, downtown parking remains a problem, according to several members of the Clare Downtown Development Authority and Main Street Board.

HAYES TWP – A case of alleged sexual assault at McFarland’s Tavern in Hayes Township has been sent to Attorney General Mike Cox’s office, according to Michigan Attorney General Spokesman Rusty Hills.

FARWELL – Two music festivals scheduled to be held in Farwell this summer have been postponed.
Silver Ridge Music Festivals has postponed the Mountain Country and Rock Music Festivals.
The country festival was scheduled for June 26 through 29, while the rock festival was scheduled for July 17 through 20.
