HARRISON – Clare County’s housing director will soon be leaving for a new job.
Adam Smith, who has been Clare County’s housing commission director since June 2006, was chosen to be the Village of Jonesville’s new village manager on Wednesday, Jan. 16.

HARRISON – An attempt to recall three members of the Harrison Community Schools Board of Education is now in the hands of County Clerk Carol McAulay.
According to Janet Ecklin, who sponsored the petition to recall Karen Zaborowski, David Rowe and Raye Lynn Walraven, the petitions each gathered 1,250 signatures, more than the 1,047 needed.
